carta 3/14

elder price

Okay here everything in the world is so much bigger… my companion is from California like I told you, but he lives like 5 miles away from the ocean… and I got a call from an elder that told me that his comedor told him about the tsunami… so he told me that the waves from the tsunami were like 70 meters high and my companion was really worried all day, but really I don’t think anything happened to California… so we were a bit scared for his family, but we were wrong.

Okay so yesterday we baptized a kid… his name is denilson Montoya… he’s a kid from a member family but they’ve been inactive in the church… we found him and reactivated the family and baptized the kid. I don’t know why but he chose me to baptized him… it was a pretty cool experience. Well it’s just that I talk more when we teach him because I speak better than my companion. So I think it’s because of that… but honestly everything is going good for me… nothing has really happened either.

So I am trying to change the situation we have with our comedor. The missionaries before us would just arrive, sit, eat, and leave… and I feel like we should talk a little more with them. I learned to make fried bananas, it’s not hard but I’m trying little by little and I can feel a difference. My companion agrees because now they talk to us and we know them a bit more… their names, my companion has been eating lunch and dinner every day for 5 months without knowing their names… so I think it’s better now. I don’t know.. . I feel it’s important to show the people that we love them and that they are important to us… I don’ t know… love ya Elder Price
